At Diversified Capital Investments, our journey began with a deep-rooted belief in building long-term wealth through real estate. Inspired by his father Matt Kolb, Austin Kolb was introduced to the fundamentals of real estate investing early on—from walking properties to seeing firsthand how renovations could turn underperforming units into income-producing assets.
This real-world experience laid the foundation for Austin’s growing interest in the industry. He went on to gain formal training through an internship at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services, a respected national brokerage firm, and earned an underwriting certification from KRI Partners and Gen Kee, sharpening his skills in deal analysis, risk assessment, and property valuation.
At age 23, Austin launched Diversified Capital Investments with a clear mission: to create opportunities for himself and others—especially farmers and like-minded entreprenuers—by bridging the gap between agriculture and real estate investing.
What We Do
We specialize in identifying and improving multifamily apartment buildings in growth markets across the U.S. Our focus is on long-term wealth creation through value-add strategies, responsible acquisitions, and steady cash flow.

Matt Kolb, Partner at Diversified Capital Investments, brings real-world experience to the table. By the age of 30, he had built a portfolio of 60 rental units across 10 properties, controlled over $4.5 million in real estate assets, and achieved a personal net worth of $1.7 million.
As a self-taught investor, Matt mastered creative financing techniques such as seller financing, lease options, subject-to deals, and equity partnerships. His experience spans fix-and-flip projects, buy-and-hold strategies, and value-add renovations. His investment approach and financial techniques is a pillar to our investment strategy today.
