Austin Kolb is a fifth-generation cattle dealer, dedicated to advancing the dairy and agricultural industries. A proud graduate of Penn State University, he earned a degree in Agribusiness Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the College of Agricultural Sciences, equipping him with the knowledge and skills to modernize and expand agricultural business models.
From an early age, Austin developed a strong work ethic and deep-rooted passion for the dairy industry. His experiences in 4-H and FFA, showing dairy cattle, competing in dairy judging, and taking on leadership roles have shaped him into the determined, hardworking, and detail-oriented professional he is today. As a member of the 2021 Penn State Dairy Judging Team, he excelled in evaluating high-quality cattle, furthering his ability to connect farmers with elite livestock. His leadership within the Dairy Science Club, the Agribusiness Management Club, and the Morrill Chapter of Alpha Zeta Fraternity reinforced his commitment to excellence and innovation in agriculture.
Only a few months after his graduation from Penn State University, Austin made his mark in the dairy industry community by successfully selling one of the most respected and well-known Registered Red & White herds in the world—the Sellcrest Family Herd. This landmark sale solidified his reputation as a trusted cattle broker with an eye for top genetics and a talent for high-level transactions.
Today, Austin plays a key role in operating Kolb’s Dairy Sales, LLC. As one of the largest cattle marketing networks in the U.S., the company specializes in sourcing and transporting dairy cattle genetics across the country and internationally—by truck, train, boat, or plane.
Understanding the evolving world of agriculture, Austin is leading efforts to modernize cattle sales through social media, technology, and innovative marketing strategies. His approach is transforming Kolb’s Dairy Sales into an industry leader, ensuring that farmers receive top-tier cattle and genetics with the most efficient and transparent transactions possible.
Austin’s entrepreneurial mindset extends beyond the dairy industry. In addition to his role at Kolb’s Dairy Sales, he is the founder of Diversified Capital Investments, a business dedicated to helping farmers and agricultural professionals build wealth through real estate investment and development opportunities.

During the Summer of 2023, Austin interned at Matthews Real Estate Investment Services in Nashville, Tennessee, where he gained hands-on experience in commercial real estate investment and development. This experience solidified his passion for real estate, inspiring him to diversify into agricultural land development, multifamily apartment complexes, and strategic real estate projects that create new financial opportunities for farmers.
Through Diversified Capital Investments, Austin is pioneering ways for farmers to leverage real estate as a long-term wealth-building tool, enabling them to diversify income streams and secure financial stability for future generations. His mission is to revolutionize how farmers engage with real estate, providing them with the resources, knowledge, and partnerships needed to transition into profitable, sustainable investment strategies.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Austin is deeply committed to supporting his community and fostering relationships with like-minded professionals who share his vision for growth and innovation. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, and sports.

Matthew Kolb is a fourth-generation cattle broker, proudly carrying forward a rich legacy in the dairy and cattle industry. Raised on a dairy farm along Route 283—known as “The Kolb Farm/Melvin Kolb, Inc.”—his roots in agriculture run deep. His grandfather, Melvin Kolb, was a pioneer in the cattle trade, and from a young age, Matthew was immersed in the day-to-day operations of the farm. He milked cows, worked long hours, and was actively involved in 4-H and showing cattle. These early experiences shaped his relentless work ethic, passion for livestock, and a strong sense of integrity.
One of the most pivotal influences in Matthew’s life was traveling across the country with his grandfather Melvin Kolb. These trips weren’t just about selling cattle—they were about learning the ins and outs of the trade, how to do business the right way, and most importantly, how to build lasting relationships. Through those travels, Matthew gained hands-on experience and firsthand wisdom from one of the most respected cattlemen in the business.
From the very beginning, Matthew understood that success in agriculture was about more than just livestock—it was about people. He learned the importance of honesty, putting the customer first, and building trust within the farming community. As he gained experience in the industry, Matthew discovered his true calling wasn’t just in buying and selling cattle, but in helping farmers grow and thrive.
This vision led him to establish Kolb’s Dairy Sales, LLC, a company built on excellence, expertise, and connection. Over his tenure, Matthew has supplied some of the largest and most successful dairies in the United States, including Milk Source and McCarty Family Farms, known for their scale, innovation, and influence in the dairy world. Through his extensive network and unmatched sourcing ability, he sells thousands of cattle each year, both nationwide and internationally, to countries such as Canada, Puerto Rico, and more.

His ability to identify and supply top-tier dairy cattle has positioned him as a trusted partner to elite operations across the country.
